It is our intent to become an established leader in all fields of diving & life support equipment related engineering.

History of Easytek.

The Life Support/ Diving Industry has grown and diversified. It has become more and more difficult for companies to maintain trained and qualified in-house staff and hold an inventory of spare parts to meet all customers’ needs in a timely manner

It is also expensive and time consuming to keep updated manufacturer, National and International standards to be able to repair and maintain a variety of manufactures equipment in accordance with the relevant standards.

With these difficulties in mind Easytek was set up to breach the growing gap between standards in diver training and diving / life support equipment maintenance.

  • Samui Easytek Co., Ltd. was founded by Managing Director Steve Burton in 1996 on Koh Samui Thailaind.
  • Originally a technical diving training agency; in 2000 Steve moved to Jomtien and set up a workshop and scuba technician training facility at Mermaids Dive Centre.
  • In 2007 the original Mermaids workshop had become too small due to the increased technical enigneering work and students wishing to undertake the ASSET related training courses that Steve was receiving.
  • Oct 2007 Easytek moved to its present location and took on two new business partners Wayne Astbury & David Ottaway.
